Effective August 2024-2025 school year:
All motor vehicles operated by students on Port Saint Lucie High School’s campus must display a current permit. Regular RED parking permits shall be placed on the OUTSIDE of the front windshield on the driver’s side, at the bottom. Abbreviated schedules and dual enrollment BLUE permits shall also be placed OUTSIDE of the front windshield, driver’s side, at the bottom, so that it is visible above the hood of the vehicle. Permits should always be visible.
- Parking permits may be obtained in Rm 443. Email lisa.janos@stlucieschools.org for additional information.
A driver’s license, vehicle registration, insurance, and schedules are required to obtain a permit.
- Cost of decal:
$25.00 per permit, per vehicle. You may pay with cash, check or Schoolpay.com. Proceeds from the sale of parking permits will be used by PSLHS to enhance our school community, including parent involvement activities, student and staff recognition, and other expenses deemed appropriate by the school principal and/or the school advisory committee. Students must have a parking decal by 08/26/2024 or their vehicles will not be allowed on campus. Periodic checks for parking permits will occur and students who bring their vehicles on campus without permits will be ticketed and their vehicle may be booted or towed and referred to the Dean’s Office.
If a student already has a 2024-2025 parking permit and purchases a new vehicle, the old parking permit must be peeled off (in pieces) and returned to Room 443 prior to obtaining another permit for the new vehicle free of charge. If we do not receive the permit from the previous vehicle, there will be an additional charge of $25.00 for the new vehicle.
Students are not permitted to leave campus for lunch or transport other students off campus under any circumstance.
