Students that are pursuing the Bright Futures Scholarship should select one of the State of Florida Public Universities (University of Florida, University of West Florida, University of North Florida, University of Central Florida, New College of Florida, Floriday State University, Florida Polytechnic University, Florida International University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida Atlantic University Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University), during the SAT and ACT test registration process to send the score report in order for it to be evaluated and accepted by Bright Futures.
Students will be evaluated based on official test scores from the FDOE repository. To ensure
OSFA obtains official test scores:
o Ensure demographics on your test registration and high school transcript match; and
o Request your official single sitting test scores be sent to one of Florida’s public
colleges or state universities when registering for the ACT®, CLT®, or SAT®.
Note: Students can request single sitting ACT® or CLT® test scores be sent directly to
Bright Futures using CEEB code 0095 while on the ACT® or CLT® websites
Students should also include all other colleges/universities they are applying to send score reports. In addition, if you are an athlete that has applied for the NCAA and/or NAIA academic clearinghouse for an athletic scholarship, you will include them on your list to send your score reports.
Colleges, Universities, NCAA and NAIA do not accept SAT/ACT/CLT scores from the high school transcript, the student must request their score report to be sent directly from SAT/ACT/CLT. Students should complete that request when they register for the test. If they do not, the student must login to their SAT/ACT/CLT account and complete a new score send request.
