Port St. Lucie High School’s Guidance Department recently hosted a highly successful Senior Parent Career & College Night, drawing over 125 seniors and their families. The event provided valuable resources and information to help students navigate their post-graduation plans, reinforcing the school’s commitment to student success.
Attendees received crucial guidance on various college and career pathways, as well as an in-depth look at financial aid opportunities. The response from participating students and their families was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the insightful and helpful session.
The event’s success was a testament to the dedication of the entire Guidance Team, including Monica Brooks, Joseph Anton., Dawn Montoya, Claudia Thompson, and Marcia Griffin. Their hard work in planning and executing the evening was critical to its positive outcome.
A special acknowledgement is also extended to the faculty and staff who assisted in preparing student packets and supporting the event: Nicole Telese, David Pierce, Dana Sheffield, Kayleigh Nemo, Dr. Leinitia Robinson, and Terrence Platt. Their collaborative efforts, along with the attendance of representatives from Indian River State College (IRSC) and military recruiters, ensured that the night offered a comprehensive and enriching experience for all.
