CAST Vocal Arts and Musical Theatre Auditions are for students interested in being part of the CAST Chorus or Musical Theatre Troupe. From Choir performances, and Jazz Sing-Alongs, to Black Box Theatre performances and full Broadway Junior Musicals on our Historic Stage, if singing and acting is your passion then CAST Vocal Arts and Musical Theatre is for you!

CAST Instrumental Rock Band and Piano Auditions

CAST Instrumental Music Ensemble is comprised of CAST: unPublished (the new rock band) and CAST: Piano Lab. Students can play in CAST: unPublished and learn traditional rock bands performing classic rock hits. Students can also joing CAST: Piano Lab and learn both classical and modern piano selections.

Audition Instructions: Please read carefully.

If you are auditioning for Piano Lab… Please click on the “Scales” and “Rhythm Worksheet”. You will receive a paper copy of the rhythm worksheet upon arrival at Mr. Matthew’s class. We will go over the worksheet and then go over scales. Please prepare as many scales as you can using both hands.

If you are auditioning for unPublished (rock band)… Please click on the “Rhythm Worksheet”. You will receive a paper copy of the rhythm worksheet upon arrival at Mr. Matthew’s class. We will go over the worksheet and afterwards, we will select our instruments for our rock band!

Graphic Design Audition

Graphic Design and Photography submissions are for students interested in being part of either: Graphic Design, Photoshop, or Photography (Yearbook).

– Digital Design: Demonstrating design techniques focusing on typography, design hierarchy, and symmetrical design. Creating flyer, banners, package design, magnets, and so much more!
– Photoshop: Learning about intricate techniques of photo editing, color manipulation, text manipulation, and so much more!
– Photography: Students will learn how to use photography within graphic design. These photos will be used to design our Yearbook.

Media Arts Welcome Video

Media Arts Audition

Students will learn the basics of film production including camera operation, talent/actor development, script writing, and basic editing. Students will also learn how to use production equipment at an entry level including the teleprompter, audio mixer, and TEAMS recording software.
