Drill Team

Military Drill is a team competition event that requires Cadets to think, move, and march as one. It requires a superior knowledge of stationary drill movements, marching drill commands, and the manual of arms. Successful teams must not only master these movements themselves but must be able to execute them precisely as a single unit. Drill competition teams can be either an all-female or all-male team. Drill units compete in the squad and platoon level of drill, in both armed and unarmed categories. For those Cadets who have truly mastered armed drill, there are also the armed exhibition drill competitions where individual cadets, duos, squads, or platoons can create their own routine to demonstrate their proficiency. The Bulldog Battalion drill team is open to any Cadet in the battalion regardless of grade level or experience. Cadets can earn the distinctive red shoulder cord, drill arc, and numerous drill competition ribbons.
