JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC)

Cadets compete every February to attend this rigorous camp and only the most mentally and physically tough get the opportunity to participate.

The JCLC is a multi-day event that is held annually at one of several South Florida locations. While at camp, Cadets are fully engaged in activities such as rappelling, canoeing, obstacle courses, zip lines, orienteering, drill and ceremonies, and various other team building events.  The intent is to challenge Cadets in a strict environment and to develop their leadership and communication skills.

As with every JROTC event, the emphasis will be on safety. Scheduled activities will include Land Navigation, COPES course, rappelling, water survival skills, and organization athletics. All meals will be provided. The Cadets will be staying in tents at night and will be provided with the necessary equipment.
